Job Description
As an Electrical Technician at Qatar Airways, you will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment and systems in your department are always operational. You should include:
1. Compliance and Regulations
Ensure that all electrical repairs and installations are carried out strictly in accordance with local and national regulations.

3. Spare Parts Management

4. Breakdown Maintenance

Organizing tools to ensure the availability of required tools readily, minimizing potential losses.
6. Requisition and Audit
Increasing component and service requirements and allowing the supervisor to conduct audited system and infrastructure inspections.
7. Record-Keeping
Keeping accurate records of all maintenance activities carried out.
8. Preventive and Corrective Maintenance
Conducting both preventive and corrective maintenance checks on electrical systems.
Qualifications & Skills
To be eligible for this exciting opportunity, candidates should possess:
1. Educational Background
- High school or diploma, with at least three years of job experience.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required, along with one year of relevant experience.
2. Technical Expertise
- Testing and commissioning of LV and ELV systems.
- Sound theoretical and practical knowledge of all electrical and associated systems.
3. IT Proficiency
- Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office.
4. Leadership Skills
- Ability to manage a department with in-house technicians and assistant technicians.
5. Technical Proficiency
- Expertise in reading and understanding electrical drawings, blueprints, and assemblies.
- Capability to report technical discoveries and troubleshoot diverse electrical systems.
